Step-by-step size guide:

1. Measure the widest point of each nail with a tape measure. If you don't have a tape measure, place paper on top of and around the nail, mark the width with a pencil, then measure the paper with a ruler.

2. Write down your measurements for future reference.

3. Compare your measurements with the image below.
