Press-on nails
If you want stylish nails without salon visits or hours of drying time, press-on nails are the perfect alternative for you. With these little things, you get a manicure in no time β you can even match your nails to your outfit!
New to the world of press-on nails? Here's everything you need to know to use press-on nails, step-by-step. Spoiler: It's easier than you think!
STEP 1 - PREPARE NAILS
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Ensure your nails are clean by removing any old nail polish and trimming them short. Wipe your nails with our included alcohol wipe or some nail polish remover to remove oil from the nail surface. Then, use a nail file to lightly file the surface of your natural nails, which will help the glue adhere better.
STEP 2 - TRY ON NAILS
Try on the false nails and adjust the size if necessary by gently filing the edges with a nail file. Once all the false nails are the right size, arrange them in order so they are ready for application.
STEP 3 - LIMMA
Apply a drop of nail glue to both your natural nail and the inside of the artificial nail. Place the artificial nail on the base of your natural nail and press down. Apply pressure for 30-60 seconds β longer time provides better durability. For an extra strong result, use a UV lamp according to the manufacturer's instructions. Repeat the process for each artificial nail.
STEP 4 - SHAPE THE NAILS
Once your press-on nails are in place, you can file them to your desired length and shape. Our nails come in a medium-length rectangular model so that it's easy to customize the look to your liking. Please note that modifications may result in the removal of decorative stones on the press-on nails.
STEP 5 - AFTERCARE
To allow the glue to cure properly, avoid wetting your nails for the first few hours after application. Regularly moisturize your hands and cuticles for the following weeks to keep both skin and nails hydrated. Use your nails gently and avoid using them as tools to minimize the risk of breakage or detachment.
STEP 6 - REMOVAL
To remove the false nails, soak your nails in warm water with nail oil and soap for 30 minutes to soften the glue. Use a cuticle pusher to gently lift the false nail from the edge and work your way inward. Scrub off any remaining glue with nail polish remover and apply nail oil to nourish your natural nails. We recommend removal after 1-2 weeks (2 weeks if UV light was used) to prevent the false nails from coming off on their own.
